Floki’s TokenFi Becomes Title Sponsor of West Indies Tour of Ireland 2025 | BSCN (fka BSC News)
Floki’s TokenFi platform has been announced as the Title Sponsor for the West Indies Tour of Ireland 2025, a cricket series scheduled between May 21 and June 15, 2025
This high-profile cricket tour will include three One Day Internationals (ODIs) hosted at Clontarf Cricket Club in Dublin, and three T20 Internationals (T20Is) held at Bready Cricket Club Ground in Northern Ireland. With a total projected reach of over 20 million viewers, the partnership is expected to give TokenFi massive exposure across key international markets.
TokenFi's role as title sponsor will be highly visible throughout the six-match series. The company’s branding will appear on the official logo unit, pitch mats, perimeter boards, boundary ropes, and post-match backdrops, ensuring its message is front and center for cricket fans around the world.
Broadcasting agreements will further amplify the campaign. The matches will be aired through major platforms across global regions, including TNT Sport (UK & ROI), Supersport (Sub-Saharan Africa), Rush (Caribbean), Fancode (India), and Tapmad (Pakistan).
For TokenFi, it reflects a calculated marketing strategy. By aligning with cricket, a sport that commands passionate audiences in regions where crypto adoption is accelerating, TokenFi aims to stake its claim as a serious contender in the blockchain space.
Strategic Timing, Expanding Influence
The timing of TokenFi’s sponsorship is no coincidence. Cricket’s stronghold in South Asia, the Caribbean, and parts of Africa overlaps with some of the fastest-growing crypto adoption zones in the world
Crypto companies, once confined to online spaces and niche communities, are now fighting for legitimacy in real-world platforms. From Formula 1 to football and now cricket, sports sponsorships have become a key way to cross that bridge
Floki Ecosystem Builds Momentum
The announcement follows a series of product launches and strategic rollouts under the Floki ecosystem. On May 8, 2025, Floki officially launched FlokiHub, a decentralized identity platform built in partnership with SPACE ID Protocol.
FlokiHub enables users to create blockchain-native identities using .floki domain names. These identities link directly to user wallets, NFT collections, and social media profiles, providing a one-stop solution for managing digital presence in the Web3 world. Built on the BNB Chain, the platform uses $FLOKI tokens to power internal transactions, boosting the token’s utility.
FlokiHub’s core promise is to give users control over their digital identity without relying on centralized services. All profiles are recorded on-chain, ensuring data integrity and privacy while eliminating the threat of censorship
More Than a Meme: From Cricket to Robots
Just last month, Floki partnered with Rice Robotics, revealing the FLOKI M1 Minibot and a new cryptocurrency token called $RICE.
This compact AI-powered robot is designed to operate in daily environments, learning through human interaction and contributing real-world data to train decentralized AI models. Every user interaction feeds the Rice AI protocol, and users are rewarded in $RICE tokens—a model designed to democratize the value of behavioral data.
This initiative is a part of what’s now being called Decentralized Physical AI (DePAI)—a futuristic concept where robots run on open AI protocols and interact with blockchain incentives. Rice Robotics aims to build a global network of intelligent machines that can trade training data, complete tasks, and earn tokens, essentially forming the world’s first scalable, on-chain robotics workforce.
