Senator calls for reform of Bitcoin mining tax system to promote the United States' leading position in the industry

On July 1, Michael Saylor stated: "If the U.S. wants to become the world's Bitcoin superpower, we must put an end to the unfair taxation of Bitcoin miners."

Senator Lummis pointed out that for many years, miners and stakers have faced double taxation, once when receiving block rewards and again when selling. Both believe that reforming this unfair tax system is crucial to ensuring the United States' leadership in the global Bitcoin and cryptocurrency space.
