The head of the IRS digital asset department suddenly resigned three months after taking office.
[Coin World] According to reports, Trish Turner, head of the digital asset division of the IRS, announced her resignation after just over three months in office. She posted on social media on Friday: After more than 20 years of service at the IRS, I am concluding this extraordinary career, and I sincerely thank everyone who has shaped my career path and given meaning to my work. Together, we faced complex challenges, established long-term projects, and laid the foundation for the IRS strategy as digital assets moved from the margins to the mainstream. Turner's resignation comes just three months after she was appointed to lead the digital asset division in May of this year.
