In the UK, a gang of seven kidnapped a cryptocurrency investor and appeared in court on the grounds of torturing and robbing cryptocurrency worth 100,000 pounds.

In the trial at Manchester Crown Court, gang members were sentenced to long prison terms.

The nightmare of the victim started with an attack on his home in January 2023. The victim, who was forced to make a cryptocurrency transfer by force, had to transfer this money to the account of the gang member Scott Armstrong. But this was just the beginning.

Later, one of the gang's leaders, David Povey, and another assailant entered the victim's home with a knife and demanded more money.** Desperately hoping that the attacks would stop, the victim once again paid.

However, the events reached a horrific proportion in October 2023.** Gang member Gary Edwards lured the victim to an apartment, tied her up, tortured her, and locked her in a closet overnight. When he failed to pay, he was threatened with death by Kane Godiff. After hours of violence, he was released after the requested payment was made.

But the gang did not stop. A few days later, the victim was taken to a house with a bag over his head and subjected to violence again. The most horrific attack took place on November 30, 2023. Edwards put the victim in a van and took her to an unknown location.

Police Arrived Just in Time!

On December 2, 2023, an anonymous tip to the police saved the victim's life. Police teams arriving at the scene saw gang member Karl Johnson trying to escape. When they entered the house, they found the victim, whose body was covered in bruises, had burn marks on his hands, and was obviously tortured.** When the victim's cops saw him, they said, "Will you take me with you?" ** he was reported to have pleaded.

During the home search, guns, ammunition, machetes, knives, baseball bats, ropes and handcuffs were found.
